This popular event over the Spring Bank Holiday Weekend will remain the clubs main event. After the problems in 2006 and the washout of the last two days ib 2007, we are hoping for better weather this year, which may well be our last event at this site (see Kite Kamp).

Camping on site is once again from Friday evening until Tuesday morning, but the site must be cleared by midday. Entry to the site will be from 5.30 on the Friday evening. There are still a few problems with site security, but things will be a bit easier this year. Campers and Fliers will be issued with a Camping / Parking Pass that include the number of a combination lock for the main gate to the field. For those of you who had problems with the combination lock last time, we can assure you that we now have a new one that is much easier to open.

There will be n-site catering and close to the site there are supermarkets, cafes, and pubs that can provide breakfats, meals and snacks and details will be included in the welcome pack. Kite Traders will be on site throughout the event.

Event Programme

This will follow the normal format with Saturday a fliers days and public days on Sunday and Monday with a programme of arena events. We hope to have 1 hour sessions in the pool on both Saturday and Sunday at the end of the the afternoon’s flying (remember when we used to have nice hot sunny days in May). On Saturday evening we will hold our traditional buffet for visiting fliers and on Sunday there will be a kite auction.


	Buggying and kite boarding will only be permitted following production of proof of insurance. Fliers will then be issued with an arm band.
